2-Day Level 3 OSTED Approved Paediatric First Aid Course Delivered In Our Birmingham Centre Or At Your Workplace. This course is designed to provide essential skills and knowledge for those caring for infants and children, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
he QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid Course (RQF) has been designed specifically to meet the criteria set by the Department of Education’s EYFS Framework and is ideal for:
- Those who have obtained a level 2 and/or level 3 childcare qualification and have begun working in an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios required by the EYFS.
- To comply with the EYFS requirements, registered childminders and assistants must hold a current and full paediatric first aid certificate.
- Anyone with a non-professional involvement with infants and children, such as parents and grandparents, who wants to learn critical paediatric first aid skills.
Newly qualified entrants to an early years setting who have completed a level 2 and/or level 3 qualification on or after June 30, 2016, must also have a full Paediatric First Aid or an Emergency Paediatric First Aid certificate within three months of starting work.
This Course Runs From 9:00 - 16:00.
Entry Requirements
On the first day of training, learners must be at least 14 years old and capable of performing practical tasks at floor level.

How long is a paediatric first aid course valid for?
After completing your assessment, students will be awarded a certificate. Paediatric first aid courses are valid for three years.
